Getting there

I had a blank journal for a few years but it was just somewhere I could put things down when life was not going well. With the mind journal, it’s great how it gives you topics and areas to focus on and help you with your wellbeing. Would highly recommend. Thank you guys.

Absolutely amazing way to help clear your head & improve mental health

I stumbled across MindJournal on Facebook; I'd been struggling to clear my head for a long time & was in something of a downward spiral, always feeling stressed and with low self-esteem. Right from the start MindJournal helped my to focus on the positives in my life & myself. The Journal gives a very easy to follow and gentle introduction into journaling and venting your feelings (both good & bad) - I will thoroughly recommend it to anyone that will listen to me talk about! It's the perfect outlet for me, who would otherwise still be bottling everything up in my head and getting nowhere. I'm sure that it will help others in much the same way as it has for me.

Caught between the hand that writes and the tech that beckons

I am a coach myself and have used a lot of the devices in the MJ with clients. The Wheel of Life etc can work, but is a bit dated and I was hoping for something newer. I have had MJ for over 2 months but not used it much and a main reason is that I have found more freedom by writing my thoughts on a laptop. The security of a digital platform is more secure too and the things I am writing really require complete privacy - for my eyes only. A also have a few issues with goal setting and there are well established thinkers that have explained how this is not always a good idea. If somebody has mental health issues, having goals can potentially become demotivating and might be counter productive. MJ therefore has helped me to write but not in a prescribed way.
